The Show Must...

We are well into rehearsal for Must Go On. In fact, we open IN TWO WEEKS. Whoa. This has, without a doubt, been the hardest show I've ever worked on. Learning lines is completely different because there is so much going on at once. We've been given multiple rewrites and last night we moved  into our two different spaces. We will be using live feed cameras to film "in the studio" as well as constantly running from stage to stage...Sheer exhaustion is starting to set in but ain't nobody got time for that...

We've got the Monitors working :)

Photocall

We are in our first week of rehearsal for "Must Go On", and I am loving it's fast pace! Yesterday, we had PR photocall and I got a glimpse of who Gwen really is. (This is not my actual costume, it's covered in glitter) I even kept the hair and makeup for rehearsal and then the gym. (#gwenworksout) I always feel more in character, in costume, so this was a huge help last night!

must go on

That is indeed, me all the way to the right. Playing the role of Gwen, the female anchor in the WORLD PREMIERE of "Must Go On". Time to find out if blonde's really do have more fun....

welcome

Four months ago, I made a huge transition in my life and moved to Georgia to begin my MFA in Performance. Life has never been the same and I'm so lucky to have such an amazing fiance, supporting me all the way. I can't believe we're already one semester down and really can't believe I get a WHOLE MONTH at home :) Below are some highlights of my first semester:
My first role as a Grad: Natasha in "Three Sisters"
My absolute best friends: Jordan and Matt. They are both in Costume Design and are responsible for keeping me sane :)
My MFA Class. We can be highly inappropriate.
Working my PR assistantship in Tate Plaza for Arts Week:)
I'm so lucky that Dustin was able to visit as much as he did, this semester!!
My family came in for the weekend to see our GAE show and to stock me up on food and beer :)
Ringing the chapel bell to celebrate the end of the semester:)
